Mogadishu, The Governor of Benadir region and Mogadishu Mayor Mr Abdirahman Omar Osman met with Somali Health Minister Mrs Fowsia Abiikar Nuur and discussed the development of Benadir health services.
Mayor said that it was committed to improving health services in the region, as there is currently a need for a strong public health services have been completed.
“We work together with the Ministry of Health to provide basic services, especially health to the community in the capital, and we are committed to providing a better health service to the community.” Said Mayor, thanking the close cooperation of the Ministry Health.
Benadir Regional Governor said the Ministry of Health is working to provide health services to the Benadir regional community, leading to a regional health . He called on the Somali people to work together for the development of the capital.
The Minister of Health of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mrs Fowsiya Abiikar Nur emphasized that it is necessary to re-open the region’s health centers and work together to provide the three million people living in the capital adequate health service.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chief of the Public Affairs Committee of Benadir Regional Administration and the Director General of the Somali Ministry of Health.
