Terrorist Hassan Dahir Aweys, who is in the hands of the Somali government, has joined the Somali YouTuber community, and has shared a wide-ranging video on the Al-Shabaab attack on the Barire and Awdheegle districts in the Lower Shabelle region.

Hassan Dahir Aweys, one of Al-Shabaab’s top leaders before he surrendered to the Somali government, is under house arrest, but various sections of the community have reacted differently to his imprisonment, as he speaks out on political issues in the country. Normally, he records videos and talks about the subject, which is often not available to prisoners.

Hassan Dahir Aweys and Somali spy chief Fahad Yasin are close friends and allies believing the same philosophy and ideology about terrorists killing innocent Somalis.

In recent days, there has been a lot of talk about a video he shared with the community that is very different from the previous ones, and he is said to have created his own YouTube channel which he will now cover most of the things he talks about mostly on political issues and ongoing conflicts.

It is also reported that the latest video of him was posted on YouTube, and the recent video he shared with the public showed Hassan Dahir Aweys standing on a Al-Shabaab flag.
