Armed militiamen attacked military bases in parts of the capital Mogadishu at around 1am tonight. A spokesman for the militia told to the media last night that they were attacking government buildings and capturing parts of Mogadishu. The Armed Forces then went on high alert. Said Minister of Internal Security Hassan Xundubey Jum’ale.
The militants recently launched a surprise attack on a military base in Mogadishu. Government forces repulsed the planned attack and defeated the attacking militia.
Good work no more militias in this country, there is a government and a system of people who have a government there is no such thing as a government that still exists and works.
We know that you have violated the dignity and reputation of the country. There is no place in the constitution for the use of the national army to provide security to the people.
