A Borama town in Awdal region of Somalia report says that the police force operating in the town killed a young Amoud University student Ibrahim Salad tonight, according to various reports. Some reports indicate that the Salad was killed, he was wearing the flag of Somalia, while others say that the shooting was a result of a dispute between him and the police officer.
The 21-year-old identified as Ibrahim Salad, was from Bosaso in the Bari region of Somalia. Ibrahim Salad was studying for a second year of Engineering at Amoud University’s Borama campus.
The killing of Ibrahim Salad took place in the evening on the outskirts of the city, after he was apprehended by police on his way to a valley outside the city, according to his relatives.
Before Ibrahim was killed, there was a brief altercation between him and the police officer. Some reports say the dispute stemmed from a dress Ibrahim Salad wore wearing the Somalia flag,
