Britain ‘participates’ in a project launched in Mogadishu

The mayor of Mogadishu, Omar Mohamoud Mohamed met with the British ambassador to Somalia, Amb. Ben Fender. The meeting discussed the progress and Mogadishu projects, with particular responsibility for the two stood on the conflict resolution project of peace and stability.

Amb. Ben Fender officially announced during the meeting that they would extend their full support to the capital community peace project, which is being run by the Benadir region. The two officials agreed to jointly work together to implement the project, which aim to create a lasting peace in the region in general.

“I had a meeting today with the British Ambassador to Somalia Ben Fender and we discussed the development of the Mogadishu and finding a solution to stabilize the security unit in Mogadishu,” said mayor in a statement.
