China supports the Federal Government of Somalia’s position that the Federal Republic of Somalia is an independent country that can never accept foreign interference.
The Chinese government has stated that it respects the sovereignty and dignity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and stands by the principle that Somalia belongs to the Somalis.
The Chinese government’s statement comes after the Somali government recently warned ambassadors to Somalia of violating Somalia’s sovereignty and statehood.
The government said some foreign ambassadors were outside the rules and regulations of diplomacy, confirming that such practices were unacceptable to the Somali people and government.
Somali leaders have not yet reached an agreement on the election of representatives in the international community, engaged in resolving internal affairs between the Somalis.
