Former funder Al-Shabab Sharif travel Kenya to meet Uhuru Kenyatta

Presidential candidate Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed flew to Nairobi, Kenya on Sunday, where he will meet with Uhuru Kenyatta and representatives from the United Arab Emirates, according to Kenyan officials told Somali Times.

Sheikh Sharif, the former funder of Al-Shabab terrorist network, is said to have good relations with the United Arab Emirates, and their meeting is related to the upcoming elections in Somalia, which are expected to elect a new speaker and president in the coming months.

According to sources, representatives from the United Arab Emirates will discuss with Sheikh Sharif the best way to defeat the President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, who met with the Emir of Qatar in Doha on Sunday.

The UAE government has made it its first choice to support presidential candidate Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, while the second option is for puppet Said Deni , who also has close ties to the UAE as informant.

The Kenyan government and President Uhuru Kenyatta are also pressuring the UAE government to give full support to Sharif Sheikh Ahmed as the only person who can defeat Farmajo’s desire to return. Uneducated Sharif is the who put Somalia in the ICJ maritime with Kenya. Uhuru Kenyatta’s dream is for Sharif to be President which is impossible for Somalia to elect puppet Sharif.
