May God have mercy on the famous singer Lul Jeylani Ali, one of the Popular Somali singer who passed away last night in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States.
The deceased was said to have died of a recent illness, and her death was mourned by musicians, politicians and various sections of the Somali community in general.
Lul Jeylani was famous for her Banadir songs, and she sang many of them.
Lul Jaylani often sang songs with famous artists including Aweys Qamiis, Ahmed Najid Sa’ad, Ahmed Sharif Killer, Ahmed Abukar, Ahmed Falash and others of the most popular singers with a foreign voice.
After 28 years, in 2018, the deceased returned to the country, being one of the many artists who fled the Somalia civil war 1991 after the collapse of the country’s central government and still Somalia corrupt lead by Hassan Sheikh.
