Prince Harry begins two-day official visit to Zambia

Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, on Monday arrived in Zambia for a two-day tour that will see him honor the country’s World War heroes. The 34-year-old was initially expected to travel with his wife Meghan Markle, but reports indicate the latter opted out due to fatigue.

Prince harry is expected to attend an official reception with Zambian officials later today. During his visit to the southern African country, the Duke of Sussex will visit the Burma Barracks in the capital Lusaka, where he will commemorate the country’s World War veterans.

He will also attend a board meeting with African Parks and meet Zambia’s President Edgar Lungu to learn about the country’s WWI centenary commemorations. This is Prince Harry’s second visit to Africa in three months, having made a trip to Botswana in August for a private visit.
