Somali Foreign Minister attends Antalya Diplomatic Forum

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamoud, attended the opening of the Antalya Diplomatic Conference, which will take place from June 18th to 20th.

Launched in the southern province of Antalya, the forum hosted 12 regional leaders, 43 foreign ministers, four former heads of state, representatives from international organizations and intellectuals from around the world.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Abdirizak, participated in a panel discussion on African cooperation and co-operation, highlighting how Somalia welcomes greater investment and co-operation.



The Minister held bilateral talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov, which focused on strengthening bilateral relations and multi-faceted cooperation for the benefit of both countries and brotherly peoples.

The Somali Ambassador, Jama Abdullahi Mohamed, presented his credentials to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on June 12, as an unstable ambassador emphasizing the historical ties between the two countries.
