Somali government failed to protect public against terrorism

Mogadishu, At least 73 people have been killed and more than 120 others injured in a suicide car bomb attack in Mogadishu. The hospitals in Mogadishu have been hit with a variety of injuries and many dead bodies remain unaccounted for, and busiest hospitals in the city are filled with missing people.

The director of Medina Hospital, in a press conference in Mogadishu, said 73 people were killed and 120 others were wounded, adding that the number was reported to Medina Hospital. The casualties of the blast included students traveling to a study site, including a student at Banadir University, and the vehicle they were burning went off.




An official told Somali Times further indicate that the number of casualties was higher than the casualties, and there is still strong support for hospitals in the affected areas this morning. Turkey’s ambassador to Somalia Mehmet Yilmaz said two Turkish nationals were killed during the blast at the Ex-control center during the blast.
