Armed gangs in South Africa attacked and killed Somali nationals in South Africa, killing and injuring them during Saturday night. The robbers attacked a shop owned by Somali traders in the South African city of Port Elizabeth, killing a Somali national, according to a witness told Somali Times.
The gunmen also seriously injured another Somali national near Port Elizabeth, who owned a business there, and he was rushed to a medical facility. The reports added that the armed robbers looted four shops owned by a Somali businessmen who later fled the scene.
Somalis in South Africa regularly set up business, and Black South Africans. Killing and robbing Somali a national, South African authorities are not protecting others.
