Somalia: Clashes between Foreign Minister Awad and State Minister Abdulkadir Kheir

Mogadishu- A major dispute broke out between Somali Foreign Minister Ahmed Isse Awad and State Minister Abdikadir Ahmed Kheir, in a series of conflicting letters. These documents are the first office the director of finance and administration department, while the other is being suspended letter indicates dismiss.

The first letter from the Office of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Abdulkadir Ahmed Kheir was addressed to the National Auditor General, and it was submitted to Shirwa Abdullahi Ibrahim, who was appointed by the director of administration and finance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.




In another letter from the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Isse Awad, which was announced to the National Civil Service Commission, the appointment and signature of the Minister of State Abdulkadir Ahmed Kheir was canceled. Minister Awad also informed all the agencies mentioned in the previous letter that he had canceled the nomination, as noted in the text.

A number of agencies mentioned in the letter from the minister’s office also noted that Said Adan Jama remains the director of administration and finance for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
