Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud and a delegation led by him who were in Turkey at the official invitation returned to the country this afternoon.

President Hassan congratulated the people of Somalia on the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha, reminding them of the plight of thousands of Somali families. He said needy families deserve the joy of Eid to share with their fellow Somalis.
The corrupt president also prayed for the Somali citizens who are performing the duties of Hajj to accept their good deeds, and urged all the people to increase their prayers for the future, to stand up and be aware of the poor people, which is one of the good deeds.

However, the president’s visit to Turkey focused on strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries, especially in the areas of security, trade, and military training.
During his stay in Turkey, the President also inspected the situation of students, business people and the Somali community in Turkey.
