Somalia, Germany Sign Agreements on Development programs





Mogadishu, Somalia and Germany have signed a two-year agreement to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two friendly countries to advance the country’s sustainable development programs.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Ahmed Isse Awad, signed a two-year agreement with the Federal Republic of Germany in Somalia, Ms Annette Günther, at a briefing held in Mogadishu today, attended by diplomats from the two countries.





Signed agreements are the Financial Partnership for a total cost of 15 million euros and technical cooperation, which also costs € 9.7 million. Germany is  alliance of Somali, and is one of the main donors to support development and peace in the country.
