Somalia. The president reaches Baidoa for the National Security Forum

Baidoa-President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, .Mohamed Abdulahi Mohamed on Sunday went to Baidoa town, the Interim Administrative capital of Southwest State in Somalia where he is due to open National Security Forum. Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Khaire, Southwest State governor, Sharif Hassan Aden and other officials welcomed the President and his delegation at Shati-gudud International Airport and led them to State regional Palace.

President Mohamed will open the forum which would focus more on the security issues, building the army and Politics agendas in attendance with Presidents from the Federal Members States, Federal Government officials and Mogadishu Mayor tomorrow on Monday.Somali Ministers of Defense, Internal Security, Planning and Mayor of Mogadishu were accompanying the President’s trip to Baidoa town in Bay region today.

The conference will also be attended by the governor heads of the state and other government agencies, focusing on the security situation in the country, strengthening the fight against al-Shabaab militia and political issues.
