Mogadishu, April 14, 2022; The president of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo who congratulated the MPs of the two houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia for the completion of the constitutional oath. The civilians are waiting from the new MPs that are about strengthening the governance, development of the country and strengthening the unity.
The president pointed out the importance of the country in the end of the election, in accordance with the September 17 2020 agreement with the leaders of the National Consultation Forum, and the two Houses of the Parliament which is the base for the execution of a total election.
The president has advised the parliamentary members of the two Houses to finish the efforts given by the 10th Parliament to pass the initiatives that will help building the government that will lead to the ongoing changes, the economy and social services that have stepped up in recent years.
The president has made the Somali people to strengthen their unity and protect governance, while every citizen gives priority to the interest of the nation and how to develop the country.
President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has wished the MPs of the two houses that were sworn in today to ease the responsibilities of the nation and make leader who work for the interest of the country, religion and the people of Somalia.
