Two separate bomb blasts in Uganda’s capital, Kampala, have killed at least two people and injured dozens more, officials say, The powerful blasts shook parts of the city, and also caused fire at the scene of the blasts & nearby vehicles.

The first blast targeted a shopping mall near the police station, while the second took place on a road near the Ugandan parliament building, The blasts killed at least two people and injured dozens more, and police are investigating.

Troops also closed the area where the blasts took place, to ensure the general condition of the area.

The situation remains tense, and the government is now busy rescuing the victims.

Uganda has been hit hard by recent attacks in Kampala, and has previously claimed responsibility for a series of bombings in the country.
