The Somali famous singer of the Waberi, Omar Shooli dies in Mogadishu

The famous singer of the Waberi Somali national, Omar Abdulle Shooli, has died in the capital, Mogadishu, where he was recently admitted to Aden Adde hospital. The singer died of diabetes and lived with him for a long time, and later laid him in bed, according to some of his children who were in Aden Adde hospital, complaining that their father had lost a government wing.

The singer, who interviewed days ago, said the Somali government has lost its national image, saying that no single official was aware of his health or visited the hospital. The chairman of the Somali poet’s association, Poet Hirsi Dhuh, said Omar Shooli and fellow artists were their property and the heritage of the Somali nation.
