Turkey offers diplomatic training to Ten Somali diplomats

In a speech to the minister plenipotentiary of the Turkish Diplomatic Academy, Ms. Burcu Çevik, stressed the depth of fraternal relations between Somalia and Turkey, noting that they are ready to sign a memorandum of understanding  with the Institute of Diplomatic Studies of Somalia to discuss specialized diplomatic trainings.

For his part, the Somali ambassador to Turkey, Mr. Jama Abdullahi Mohamed, said that Somalia and Turkey have deep and multifaceted historical relations, stressing the keenness of the Somali federal government to promote these relations and cooperation in a way that serves and achieves the mutual and reciprocal interests of the two countries and peoples.
The diplomatic training, which will last for a week, is the second of its kind to train Somali diplomats in the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
