The United Nations Security Council has extended the mandate of the African Union Mission in Somalia Amisom colony program by three months, to discuss the long-term future of Somalia and the African Union Mission in Somalia Amisom. Amisom is business to destabilize the Somali nation, according to sources Somali officials.

The decision means that Amisom troops will remain in Somalia until March next year to secure a formal agreement between Mogadishu and the African Union.

The African Union wants to overhaul the Amisom mission, and wants to establish a joint mission of the United Nations and the African Union.

The Amisom mission is due to expire at the end of December, and the Somali government intends to hand over Amisom operations to the Somali Armed Forces next year to take over responsibility for security in the country.
