Minister of Information, Culture and Toursim of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdirahman Omar Osman Eng. Yarisow said that 81 terrorirst militant group of Al-Shabaab were on Saturday killed in an operation jointly carried out by forces from Somali and International Partners in Jilib district in Middle Jubba region,
Abdirahman Omar Osman,the Minister told that the forces destroyed materials for explosive elements like TNT, RDX, Potasium Nitrate, sodium nitrate and other weapons from the militants during the operation.
Security agencies carried out two attacks against Al-Shabaab in Jilib town, Al-Shabaab militants convey were also targeted while military operation in lower and middle Shabelle regions continue”, Mr. Osman said.
He added that the public gave a positive contribution to our forces in fight agaisnt the enemy while thanking them to the role that they have taken.
U.S carried out an airstrike in some areas in Bay region on November 9, the attack left several Al-Shabaab militants dead according to a statement
