Somali capital blast explosion reported in Mogadishu

A large explosion near Somalia’s old parliament in Mogadishu sent a pile of smoke and dust billowing into the sky on Wednesday, The explosion was used as a vehicle packed with explosives, and exploded. Our reporters also went to the scene to see the bodies and people injured in the blast. Somali police forces have reached the area, closing all the roads and shells in the area where the blast occurred and firefighters. official says that it has collapsed in many parts of the homes in the area of the explosion.




Until now, there have been no official reports of casualties caused by the bombings in Boondheere district of Banadir region. It is not clear who is responsible for the bombing and there has been no official confirmation. Car bombs and suicide attacks are a relatively frequent occurrence in Mogadishu, which is battling an insurgency from the militant group Al Shabab, with the help of an international task force.
