China, Rwanda strengthen bilateral ties




Ankara–China and Rwanda strengthened bilateral relations by signing 15 agreements during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s official visit to the east African country’s capital on Monday. At a joint press conference, the Chinese and Rwandan leaders said that they were pleased to develop ties between the two countries. The agreements were signed in various areas such as economic cooperation, civil aviation, diplomatic and special passports, visa exemption, e-commerce, infrastructure, culture and science.
Xi’s visit to Rwanda, which he started on Sunday, is the first official visit to the country of a Chinese head of state.
