The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said Wednesday that it has received a report of an incident involving a commercial vessel approximately 15 nautical miles northeast of Oman.

According to the report, the master of a container ship said the vessel was approached by a gunboat linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
