Ethiopia says it shot down a plane carrying weapons for the TPLF terror group

The Ethiopian government said it shot down an army plane that the government said was carrying weapons for the TPLF group, which is at war with the Ethiopian government.

Major General Tesfaye Ayalew, the Chief of Operations of the Ethiopian Military, said that the plane crossed from Sudan, which is a neighbor of Ethiopia. On the other hand, Ridwan Hussein, who is the advisor to the Prime Minister of Ethiopia on security, said in a tweet that he posted today that the plane was shot down by the enemies of Ethiopia, who are known to weaken Ethiopia.

The adviser did not say which country he was referring to.

There are no independent sources to confirm this news from Ethiopia, and the TPLF group has not yet commented on this issue. This move is improving at a time when a war broke out again between the Ethiopian government and the Tigray group.
