The action taken by Ahmed Madobe has opened a political uproar that could have been avoided by president Hassan Sheikh, who is new to the office, and his primary goal is to wage a united war against Al-Shabab according corrupt Hassan Sheikh.

Hassan Sheikh is facing a political challenge

Hassan Sheikh is now facing a big political challenge as to how he will do or face the growing period of Ahmed Madobe.

If he remains silent, which means acceptance, it opens the door for all the heads of other regions of the country, especially South West, HirShabelle and Galmudug to have a period of growth. If Hassan Sheikh publicly rejects Ahmed Madobe’s extension, there will be a war and a political crisis that the government does not need, which could divert the planned war with Al-Shabab.

It could also lead to a clash between the government and Puntland, which is believed to always support Jubaland.
