Exclusive: Hassan Sheikh holding the salaries of Somali troops brought from Eritrea

There is a new situation with the troops brought from Eritrea and Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud. The troops trained in Eritrea stationed at General Gordan’s camp in Mogadishu have been under siege for the past few days.

According to the information received Somali Times from the soldiers brought from Eritrea, they are complaining about their salaries, lack of rights and being mistreated.

The corrupt president Hassan Sheikh, who has put a lot of effort into bringing back the army, went to the camp for the third time yesterday, trying to convince the soldiers and bring some of them back to the camp.

President Hassan Sheikh has told the army to calm the situation, and his promise to the army will be fulfilled that they will get their salaries and other care they want, according to Somali officials told Somali Times.
