Farmajo and Khaire are responsible for Somali youths trained in Eritrea

The case of Somali youths who were trained in Eritrea, but were said to have been involved in the fighting in the Tigray region of northern Ethiopia. This was more than treachery, and a threat to the very existence of the Nation,

“This is a greater betrayal, and a threat to our very existence as a nation the president Mohamed Farmajo and former prime minister, Hassan Ali Khaire,

The statement comes amid growing concerns in recent days that Somali parents wanted answers for their sons in Eritrea, following a United Nations report that said Somali soldiers involved war in the Tigray region this is a greater deception.



UN reports indicate that Somali youths who have been secretly and illegally trained by the Eritrean military have been used in the war in northern Ethiopia. There is complete ambiguity surrounding information about youth and their well-being, and the government has so far not responded to requests and complaints from parents and the public.

This alone will prevent President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and former Prime Minister Khaire from running for public office as well as appearing in court against the Somali people.
