The situation in the Sool region is stable today, after yesterday’s fighting in which the SSC-Khatumo forces took over the control of the Hargeisa administration forces in Gojacade and other areas.
SSC-Khatumo troops are reported to have made a strong defense this morning in Gumays area, which is a short distance from Oog district in Togdheer region.

The leader of SSC-Khatumo, Abdiqadir Ahmed Aw-Ali ordered the SSC troops not to enter Oog, instructing the troops to prepare for the defense of the areas they captured yesterday.
He also said that they should treat the prisoners of the SNM militia well, he said that their importance was to achieve the capture of the commander Faisal Abdi Botan in Gojacade.
