The forces of SSC Khatumo, who achieved a series of victories this morning in the battles between the Hargeisa administration army, captured the famous base of Gojacade.
The SCC-Khatumo administration reported on Friday that the SCC forces have captured the Maraaga area previously controlled by the Hargeisa army in the Las Anod town.

The SCC administration said the Hargeisa administration of indiscriminately shelling Las Anod with artillery, destroying vital civilian infrastructure.
This base was the biggest of the Hargeisa SNM militia forces in the Las Anod area, the fighting is said to have intensified now, the SSC forces have presented prisoners and vehicles they captured from the Hargeisa SNM militia forces.

The fighting that started early this morning has resulted in a heavy defeat by the Hargeisa SNM militia forces, as it is the first time that the SSC forces have captured these important bases.
Since February 6, there has been heavy fighting in the northern Somali city of Las Anod between troops of Hargeisa SNM militia and forces of SSC Khatumo from the Dhulbahante clan in the north of Somalia. Hundreds have been killed, while thousands have been displaced from the town.
