The head of the Kenyan Confederation of Trade Unions, Francis Atwoli, who has been in Kenyan politics for over 20 years said, it is time for Somalis to become president of Kenya.
Politician Atwoli seemed to be showing that change is needed to leave where we are, and he gave an example of a visit to Eastleigh Market in Nairobi and what he saw there.
“I want to thank the Somali community in Eastleigh, I visited Eastleigh for the first time yesterday. When you are in Eastleigh, especially the market you feel like you are in Cairo, Egypt,” said Atwoli, adding that change is needed.
“Somalis make changes in Nairobi if you can’t do it yourself, don’t cry because you want money to be brought to the office and thrown at you,” said Politician Atwoli.
He called on Somalis to develop the capital city of Nairobi, where they will have a president in the future.
