Mogadishu, 20 March 2018 – Governor of Benadir region and Mogadishu Mayor Mr Abdirahmaan Omar Osman re-opened the road ahead of the traffic police station in Abdiaziz district said the plan is to reopen all other closed roads , to facilitate the public transport and transport of the capital.
Mayor thanked the Somali Police Force for their continued release, to take part in the development and prosperity of the capital, explaining that this action will further open the way forward for the Center for Investigations, which is crucial for the city’s move.
“This is a start, we’re going to open all roads closed to the public, in order to facilitate the movement of public transport in the capital and, except as safety necessary, therefore, the public will be required to prepare for the construction of roads. The mayor said that the opening of the roads can play an important role in the security and development of the capital, Somali people sitting in role to take the city to compete with other capitals of the world.
Governor of Banadir region Mr. Abdirahman Omar Osman has called on the Businessmen and the public to block the road in the public interest, saying that legal action will be taken against anybody in the matter.
