Mayors of Mogadishu and Nairobi Hold an Important Meeting





Nairobi- Mayor of Mogadishu, who is also the governor of Banadir Region, Eng Abdirahman Omar Osman has met with Nairobi Governor, Honorable Mike Sonko in Nairobi and discussed with him ways of establishing multi-dimensional cooperation on different sectors.

The governor of Banadir Region has discussed with his counterpart in Nairobi on multi-dimensional reports about transformations on developmental sectors that have been achieved recently and the significance of initiating a steadfast cooperation between the two cities.

Eng. Osman has pointed out that the city, which was once one of the most beautiful cities in Africa, is recovering from its devastations and restoring the status it used to claiminternationally, while adding how significant the move is for other neighboring cities to copy the multi-dimensional transformations the city is achieving.




The mayor of Mogadishu has thanked the Kenyan society for the brotherly welcoming they offered to Somali people, while adding that Nairobi, the Capital city of Kenya, had contributed to the restoration of Somali nationhood and hosted quite a number of peace and reconciliation conferences to establish a Somali government.

The Governor of Banadir Region has also commended the plans through which Banadir Region Administration is striving to recover and realize its visions, while reiterating how determined they are to play their role in restoring the beauty that Mogadishu used to claim previously.
