Benadir Governor Omar Mohamed Mohamud has warned against creating insecurity in the Benadir region, particularly in Mogadishu.
The statement from the governor of the Benadir region comes at a time when protests took place in the capital yesterday, with some of protester using ammunition and heavy weapons, resulting in casualties. Omar Filish said the men who were fighting in Mogadishu yesterday were serving Kenya’s interests, and warned that such incidents would not happen again.
“You saw yesterday some blindfolded people fighting in the city, serving of Kenya’s interests in Somalia,” said Omar Filish.
