Mortars hit parts of Mogadishu, but Hassan Sheikh is doing nothing about it

More news is coming from a number of mortars that fell early this morning in the neighborhoods of Wadajir district in Mogadishu.

The preliminary reports that are coming out say that two of the mortars fell on the houses of civilians in the neighborhood of Siliga Amerikan. It is reported that there are casualties and injuries caused by the mortars that hit the Siliga Amerikan neighborhood, but the official damage caused by the mortars is not yet known.

The security forces of the Somali government have arrived near the place where the mortars hit, and they have conducted search operations around the houses where the mortars hit, but there is no news from Mogadishu security officials about the damage caused by the mortars.

It is not the first time that mortars have been thrown and hit civilian houses, causing casualties and injuries, and Al-Shabab claim responsibility for the mortars.

Somalia since Hassan Sheikh became President of Somalia for the second time on 15 May 2022, Somalia became lawless and there is no security, crime is higher, murder and rape has increased. Al-Shabab is starting to control most of Mogadishu and the surrounding area because they have connections inside Hassan Sheikh’s government.

Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud appointed the founder of Al-Shabab terrorist group Mukhtar Robow as the Minister for Endowment and Religious Affairs was a big mistake. This is a parochial view of peacebuilding.
