Mogadishu-The Energy and water minister of Somalia Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed has announced his resignation from the government of Somalia. He said he had resigned as minister after the conditions of the Governor candidates in South West State Election were supposed to resign if he had another position.
“Following the demands of the South West Election Commission that a person cannot compete, then resigned, I would like to thank Prime Minister Khaire who has given me this past and my colleagues,” he said.
He is one of the candidates nominated for the presidency of South West Somalia.
