President Farmajo receives credentials from new UK Ambassador Kate Foster

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, has accepted the credentials of the new Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Somalia, Kate Foster.

Ambassador Kate Foster conveyed the President’s greetings and message from Queen Elizabeth II, thanked her for the warm welcome and expressed her commitment to strengthening the traditional ties between the two countries.



The President shared with Ambassador Kate the successful plans of the government and the people of Somalia to ensure security, rebuild the army, consolidate governance, strengthen democracy, economic development, fight terrorism and corruption.

The President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, expressed his commitment to the Federal Government of Somalia to strengthen diplomatic relations based on cooperation and collaboration.
