Somali forces arrested 27 Al-Shabaab militants in Marka and killed several Al-shabaab




Marka -Somali government forces backed by African Union troops have captured the strategic town of Marka from the Al Qaeda-linked Shabaab, media reports. The operations and investigations carried out by the Armed Forces in the town of Marka have been arrested at about 100 people, most of whom have been released except the 27 members identified as members of the Al-Shabaab terrorist group, who are two one was captured by fighting.
The Somali National Army also shot and killed several Al-Shabaab militias, shortly after they arrived there, hiding in some of the Homes.




Al-Shabaab mosques have returned to Al-Shabaab and the Great Market of Marka which have been shut down months after they have launched a massive rebate now reopened, and now it seems that the city is returning to ordinary life.
On 19th of this month, the Somali National Army launched a planned assault on the town of Marka in the Lower Shabelle region and continues to carry out investigations into al-Shabaab’s rivals. The troops also operate in some parts of Lower Shabelle, which need to be completely eliminated from the al-Shabaab militia.
