Khartoum -A delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia Mr. Ahmed Isa Awad has arrived in Sudan’s capital Khartoum on the occasion of the International Airport in Khartoum with the Somali Ambassador to Sudan The ambassador of the emirate Sheikh Ahmed Ibrahim Burfule and some of the diplomats of the Somali embassy in Sudan.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, speaking at the Press media, Mr Awad said that Sudan has come to an agreement on the advance of the two bilateral Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Sudan, as well as oversee the work of the Somali embassy staff in Sudan.
Mr. Ahmed Isa Awad has participated in the 7th Summit of the International Community in Sudan, held for four days from Khartoum, and held a conference on Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir.
The 7th Ambassadors of the Sudan were invited to the honor of the former Foreign Minister of Kenya and Kenya’s Education Minister mrs Amina Mohamed Jibril.
Sudanese Foreign Minister Mr Ibrahim Ahmed Abdulaziz has welcomed the attendance of the summit in his Somalia counterpart, and praised former Kenyan Minister of Education Amina Mohamed Jibril.
