Mogadishu -The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Somali Government . Mr. Abdulkadir Ahmed Kheir Abdi, today welcomed the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi.
During the meeting there discussed several issues including the agreement illegal between the government and the company, DP World with the Somali port of Berbera and the legal consequences of violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia.
The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said the Somali Federal Government would distribute development programs to all regions of Somalia without any exception, and will not accept any of its independence and its national origin, and will not allow any incentive deal.
On the other hand, the UAE Ambassador emphasized that his country is fully committed to protecting, respecting and supporting the independence of Somalia, its unity and territorial integrity, saying the continuance of continued coordination and consultation on expanding and deepening partnerships the two countries, which are closely monitoring Somalia’s relations with Somalia and the UAE.
