Mogadishu – The Prime Minister of Somalia HE Hassan Ali Kheyre, details of the trip to Brussels and Results pace with the heads of various different conference speaking to the country. He said that they have entered into a number of important agreements for the Somali government and the European Union.
Prime Minister stated that the European Union agreed to assist the Somali government with a € 100 million budget for the country’s budget, directing it to the Central Bank of Somalia, as well as the European Union. € 80 million will be provided by the ambassador and the transitional government.
The Somali Prime Minister also acknowledged the EU’s commitment to work with the Somali government to prevent cutting, export of illegal charcoal and the next year’s conference in Belgium.
“The leaders of the conference stated that Somalia has begun a new development package, which will be accompanied by the international community, and pledged to provide a better way to help the new Somalia.” Prime Minister Khaire said.
Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khair has met with the Prime Minister of Belgium, European Union High Representative for Foreign Policy, EU Commissioner for Development, Reconciliation and Assistance, European Union Ambassadors for Security and politics, embassies from Africa, the Caribbean and Pacifica united in Somalia.
