A statement from Somali government issues meeting in Afisyoni between federal, state leaders and Farmajo .
The Somali government has announced that the Somali president has chaired a special meeting ahead of a national conference to finalize the elections and implement the September 17, 2020 agreement approved by members of parliament.
According to the Somali officials told Somali Times, the meeting was attended by the Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble, the presidents of the states, Galmudug Ahmed Abdi Kariye, South West Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed, HirShabelle. Ali Abdullahi Hussein and Benadir Governor Omar Mohamud Mohamed.
The statement from Villa Somalia did not mention the leaders of Jubaland and Puntland who have not yet arrived at the conference venue. Reports also said that the two leaders to oppose the federal government in Somalia through the complaints procedure, which is sensitive and appointments announced.
