Somalia’s Minister of Health, Dr Fowsia Abikar Nur, has once again sent letters to officials of the Yardimeli Hospital in Mogadishu, demanding them to prove and come up with a law that allows them to work in Somalia but did not respond.

“The Ministry of Health is responsible for protecting the health of the country. We are doing our job, but we should ask Privately own hospital, any health agency if they do not have a license to work in the country is our duty.” We have to suspend it, but if anyone has a valid work permit in the field of health, the government will allow them to work,” Dr Fowsia said

Health Minister Dr Fowzia added that the performance of their work would not be a host to anyone else, and the ministry always closely monitored its work on health issues in the country.
