Mogadishu -Somali Times Somalia’s Central Bank Governor, Sir. Bashir Isse Ali, today addressed the media, reported the new Shilling Somali currency in the country and development activities in the Central Bank of Somalia.
First, the governor said that the new edition of the country’s currency is composed of many parts, indicating that these funds are very difficult to copy and to fabricate.
“The Newcomer is composed of four pieces of 1,000 units, 2,000 Sh.so, 5,000 Sh.so and 10,000 Sh.so, the maximum amount of printed edition is 1,000,000 Dollars .Somali Shilling. followed by 2,000 Sh.so Two Dollar Shillings Somali, the lowest of 5,000 Sh.so and 10,000 Sh.so .Five Thousands of Somali Shillings, First of all in four quarters will be issued ” said the Central Bank governor.
The Somali central bank governor, Sir. Bashir Isse Ali, said that after the re-deployment of the Central Bank in the last decade, he has been doing a lot of improvements, saying he is currently engaged in the modernization process of the Bank, to facilitate the work.
