Somali President celebrates Eid ul-Fitr with an army

Mogadishu, Somali Times The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, prayed for the prayer at the Armed Forces of the National Army Training School in Mogadishu. After the holiday, the President spoke publicly to the army and congratulated the Eid ul-Fitr holiday, reminding the military’s importance of reviving the Somali state.

“Everyone who joined the army has sacrificed his country and his people, and is the highest honor and nobility. You are looking for the return of our country and its dignity, “said the President. The president said that these youths who stood up for their defense country were reflecting the great prospect of restoring a Somali nation from the region and the world.




In their turn, the President of the Republic of Somalia expressed his concern that the leadership of the country is sharing the happiness of the land, and they have had words to express their commitment to the country’s defense and security. Chief of General Staff Major General Dahir Adan Elmi has also shared with the President the huge efforts to build the Somali National Army and its capacity.

Deputy Prime Minister Hon Mahad Mohamed Guled, Chief of Defense Forces General Dahir Adan Elmi and Chief of Staff Major General Bashir Mohamed Jama was among those who accompanied the president of the Eid ul-Fitr group with the units of the National Armed Forces.
