Somali President congratulates the Somali National Army on its 60th anniversary

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, has congratulated the officers, deputies, all members of the Somali National Army and their families on the 60th anniversary of the formation of the Somali National Army.

The President pointed out that a strong and effective army is vital to our nationhood and the regeneration of our country, and that the government has taken a decisive step towards census, justice and reform of the Armed Forces, especially the military. “The Armed Forces are a national symbol that is not divided into clans or clans and stands for and defended national sovereignty. President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo highlighted the success of the Somali National Army in the fight against terrorism and the liberation of many areas that have oppressed our people. The President commended the high level of ambition of the officers and soldiers on the battlefield who are determined to liberate the country from the terrorists who are accustomed to spilling the blood of our civilian population. said President Farmajo.

President Farmajo praised the veteran Somali officers at the Somali National Army Training School in the country, to pass on their knowledge and experience to future generations. The President of the Republic has prayed to God for all the veterans who have sacrificed their lives for security.
