Mogadishu, The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, has wished the people of Somalia on the blessed occasion of Eid Al-Adha. The president described the special days of the Arab world as a symbol of the compassion, protection and unity of Muslims.”These holy days of Arafat are a great day for our religion and culture. It is a day in which thousands of our citizens turn to each year, performing the Hajj duties by praying to Allah for mercy, prosperity and good for themselves, their people and their country.”
Also, the President congratulated our heroes on the Armed Forces on the battlefield, the success they have achieved in their efforts to liberate the country from terrorists. “We are celebrating this Army as our heroes of the Armed Forces liberate terrorist militias from further areas where the enemy has been harming our people, and has been harmed by the cruelty of the Somali people.”
The President of the Republic is calling on all of our people in Somalia to stand up and support our poor people, so that we can share the happiness of the sand together. President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed appealed to the people of Somalia and Muslims all over the world to celebrate the occasion of Eid health, progress, peace and prosperity.
