Somali President welcomed a delegation of Turkish led by Defense Minister

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, welcomed a delegation of Turkish-Turkish government led by Defense Minister Hulusi Akar to emphasize the importance of relations between the two countries.

The purpose of the trip is to help the Turkish government improve its support to Somalia and to assess the ways in which it can improve the support of the Armed Forces in the field of training and equipping. President Mohamed thanked the Turkish Government for its important role in the rebuilding of the Armed Forces, which is the foundation of the Somali army to fully secure the country’s security.



The Turkish and Turkish delegations have discussed the Turkish Government’s training in the training of the Armed Forces and how to accelerate the development and expansion of the various forces of the National Armed Forces, especially the land, the air and the sea. The delegation thanked the Somali government for its warm welcome, highlighting the importance of Turkey’s commitment to continuing the strategic partnership with Somalia.

Turkey’s Turkish delegation arrived in Mogadishu today as part of the Turkish Defense Minister, Turkish Army Chief, senior officials of the Turkish Armed Forces and the TIKA Directorate for Development and Cooperation.
