Mogadishu – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government Somalia His Excellency Hassan Ali Khaire today welcomed the new UN Secretary-General’s special envoy for Somalia, Nicholas Haysom.
Mr Hassan Ali Khaire and Mr Nicholas Haysom discussed the co-operation and acceleration of the national plans.
“I am delighted to welcome the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Somalia, Nicholas Haysom, to today’s office. I hope to work together on national plans, “said Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire.
The UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, recently visited Nicholas Haysom, appointed his Somali counterpart, replacing former ambassador Michael Keating from the country in 2016.
